I would like you to take a moment and read the quote above, which was written by Gunnery Sergeant Adam Walker. It's a phrase that should carry immense weight upon all of us. Corporal Dunham sacrificed his life for his fellow Marines and in a way, he sacrificed his life for each and every one of us.
I often stop and read that phrase to remind myself how the actions of one man can affect the lives of many. So no matter how busy your day or how stressful your life, remember Corporal Jason L. Dunham, and what he gave of himself so that others could live.
It is up to all of us - the living - to take what has been given, and do what we can to honor those who gave.
